What do you do for a backup in case the light burns out? I've never used my high beams either since I've installed them.

Hadnt thought of the backup. If Im traveling, nothing I can do, but run the stock projector low beam and the 10w ADVMonster Spot. Soon, I hope to replace the stock projector with the Hi/Lo Projector and LED bulb, but that is a bigger project! I can always revert to the stock Hi Beam if need be, as no modification happened to original parts!

![]() I had HID's and the high beam was throwing enormous amounts of light. The beam pattern was different to that of the led's and I think that the spot LED's are way too focused, I mean the spot does not disperse light as much as the stock high (HID) beam. It goes further (may be) but it is so focused.... I will keep the the two 3600 lumen LED's lights, and put too KTM high beam's converted to HID and see how it goes. The two 60's are amazing

Sanjon,
Do you know of anyone that's mixed two different lights on their bike, i.e. a M30 and a M60? Seems like you'd get the best of both worlds, a flood and a spot. |

Yes, this is a popular combination. The tenere above has a mixed set of lights.

Just wanted to chime in. I had two model 30's on my KLR, they worked flawless and bright as sh*^ for a year + till I sold it. Cages for sure noticed me a LOT MORE. They were bright enough that I put a switch in for the main headlight so I could turn it off, use the LED's, and run other equipment.
I just ordered the model 30 & 60 combo for my Versys. From what I've found searching around these give you substantially more light compared to the other products out there that are put in a fancy box with about $10 worth of wiring stuff and charge you $100-$200 more. |
