Well there has been some underwater testing....

Thought I'd post up a reminder on the "advrider" promotional code, which will get you 10% off products. On the first page of the checkout.

If your tranaction has completed and you forgot the code, I will make a donation to Baldy to keep this fine cyberspace establishment ad free.

'Likes' may be too strong a word.

But here is what my man Pyrate is talking about:

The lights survived just fine.

Well, the person taking the video "likes" with that laughter!

Covers or protectors?

John,

Are there any covers or protectors available for the lights?

Covers - like you see on big 4x4 rigs, that cover the light when not in use and are removed for use.

Protectors - like a lexan cover to protect the lens from rocks.

Interested if you know of any sources.

Thanks!

John I did not forget the discount I made it clear in the Pay-pal form and e-mail at the time I placed the order you chose to ignore it. It doesn’t matter I’m glad you will donate to Baldy. It is like pulling teeth to get a response from you. Your customer relations leave a lot to be desired. I’m not the only one to have this problem with you. Matters not you don’t have a corner on this market there are other suppliers. I wanted to support ADV members I think we all expected to be treated fairly because we are members.

It's on the first page of the checkout. Why did you chose to not put it in at that time? After you payed is too late.

It must matter to you as I read this post.

You are the exception, I'd be happy to refund your full purchase price and you can return the lights. What's amazes me is I don't even know your name as you did not list it in any pm's. Makes it kind of difficult if I don't know who the customer is!

Happy New Year

I don't have any covers available. I have used some film in the past to protect lights, I think it was made by 3M.

I do have spare glass available, please email me sandjoh at gmail dot com.

Proper place

Probably best to discuss alternate vendors elsewhere. This is Sanjoh's vendor page after all, not just a discussion thread.

I agree with that. It's just bad form to clog up his vendor thread with that stuff. Not appropriate...i would expect it to be gone once a Mod finds it.

I for one has had nothing but very good support from this seller.

I have had issues with the lights and they have been rectified swiftly.

I am a happy buyer.

I'll jump on the dog pile...got a prompt reply to my initial inquiry, followed the clear instructions on how to get the ADV discount, and the product arrived ASAP.

Another thumbs-up for John! Fast acknowledgement and shipping. He even overcame a bonehead move on my part and made things right immediately.

I will always give my business to guys like John, who's an inmate as well, so we all benefit.

And we both made a donation to ADV as a result of this transaction!

Thanks; will do when and if I crack one of the lenses; they are currently fine.

I was just looking for some sort of prophylactic to prevent such an occurrence.

+1

I just got my lights. Very prompt shipping even with the holidays in full swing. ADV discount was easily entered. I'm excited to get these on the bike!
