I have noticed the same thing. I run mine all the time and combined with the dual HID headlamps, cars almost fall over themselves to get the heck out of the way when I pull behind them. I always hug the center line so my lights are shining right in their side mirror.

LED Test
I had heard of some other members talking about these lights shutting down after a while due to heat.
I wanted to test that so I hooked one of them up to a 12V inverter in my garage. Turned on the light and went to work. 10+ hours later I came home, rode into the garage and the light was still shining bright. Now this was in a garage with NO ventilation or air flow, it was in the mid 70's so a little cool out but I figured if there was a scenario where heat would hurt them this was one of em. Just ordered a second one to use the pair as my running lights in my daily commuter.

could probably fabricate one? Go to an Ace or Lowe's etc, and search for a piece of metal with holes at regular intervals? Or find a nice piece of stock aluminum and drill three holes, countersink maybe and bolt on.

This is exactly what I did - I picked up one length of Stock aluminum at Ace Hardware and made my own mount. Just be very precise when measuring, marking and drilling.

I bought a pair of the 10w spots a few months back, and one of them turned out to be less than waterproof. Sanjoh gladly replaced it with one of his new model 30s, and charged me no shipping. They have been insanely bright, and the one that leaked still works despite the large amount of corrosion inside.
On your left is the new Model 30, on the right is the old 10w spot. I got a strange effect in this pic. ![]() These pics are of only the LEDs running, the bike is not running. ![]() From the street in front of my house. It looks like a train is coming! ![]()

Model 30 and 44 on F800GS
Thought I would post some pics of the ADV Monster Model 30 and Model 44 fitted to my F800GS using the metal mount on the Touratech Dieserto 3 windscreen.
Fits great and appears to be sound. They also look they are supposed to be on the bike. These lights are better than I expected. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Failure
Has anyone had there lights quit working or know what if any warranty they may have
I don't think I've had mine a year yet. I hopped off the bike to check out one that burned out, and watched the other one go out![]() ![]()
