Do you have a recommended Wiring set up? I've read about a problem stated here about HID and wondered if you could give us the WORD from you.

Thanks!

Watch that aim

I've ridden in the dark with the 44s and things have been okay, no flashing from other vehicles. Two days ago, I had a passenger and I was being flashed by another motorbike. I guess this must have brought the front end up a bid, enough to make a difference.

new brackets

Whats the status of the thicker brackets? its been a month since the replacement ones broke and you were in the process of getting more robust units when you sent me them, but I have not been informed of any progress.

Haven't installed my set of 44's yet and am a bit concerned about the longevity of the thin stock mounting brackets - will the more robust mounting brackets be available to current customers as a no charge replacement?

Mine have malfunctioned several times now, I have returned them each time and where repaired... I had the 24 watt flood three way...the last time I had them converted to the brightest setting....took one long trip and both are now not working...
Also I can document that several of my friends have had the same issue with one or both quitting.. was a BMW rally in May and ask couple of owners as well....one had the same issues as well...

This thread doesn't speak much about the failure...but it does happen.

Don't think I will return them the fourth time....going to chalk it up to "you get what you pay for"

BTW, I must credit the vendor for repairing them each time....but I am getting tired of taking them off, postage back and the re-install...each time.

Moving on to something else...

Mine just broke too.

Are the heavy duty ones a free replacement for those whose failed? Should be. The originals are not even close to being satisfactory for any extended use.

Funny, the stoutness of the thin mounts was questioned from the very start, but most riders responded they worked just fine for the lightweight housings and LEDs.

Mine worked just fine up until the day it broke from metal fatigue

My gripe is the Advmonster wants to charge me $20 to replace with a stronger one that should have been there in the first place.
