Any ADVers live in the Silver Valley? If so Free beer at my place!

Well I finally bought a house in Mullan, ID. There are so many trails here to explore! Lots of downed trees though. I ride a trials bike with a little chain saw so I hope to make some headway. If anybody wants to help I'll show all the good trails I've found.

Will the snow ever end?

I like the Mullan area, the ride up on Gold Mountain is really sweet! Well, at least on a quad it is, I'm not good enough to take it on with a bike yet. I bet the gasgas is great up there. We stop at the Coyote Bar whenever we make it to town. They have really good, HUGE burgers.

I hear ya on the friggin white stuff

Mullan = Hecla!

I've been underground at the Lucky Friday/Gold Hunter a few times. How's the shaft sinking coming along? With silver at $35/oz those guys must be going crazy!

Would like to come and visit your two tracks some time this summer. the single track stuff a bit tough on the Dakar and my old bones.

First Tracks

.....Of 2011 on a bike that is. Did a little 20 mile loop up and around the Eastside Road testing out the XR. Still quite a bit of snow in the shadowed corners, so it was a little interesting. It's gonna be a fun summer!!!

Huh my dad was the guy that installed the concrete pump there and trained the guys how to run it. He also made a bunch of service calls there...

See you Saturday.

They and the Outlaw have good burgers. But the best is Silver Corner in Wallace. Whole new level.

Question Spring picnic and WABDR DVD watching?

Would anyone be interested in an early spring picnic at my place? We could throw some burgers on the grill, drink some barley pop, watch the WABDR (and DS Riding) video(s).

If this sounds good, I'll try to pic a Sat. or Sun. in late March or early April.

Would come for the company/camaraderie but watching a ride on video... not as much fun as actually taking a ride.... especially if the riding is GOOD!

I'll start watching the weather reports

See if I can find a nice Sat or Sun where the weather forces us all outside and on the bikes. Will set a date and post my address. you can mapQuest it. I'll have burgers, pop, beer. You can bring chips, etc.

Will have to get a headcount for the burgers and beer. Actually, am not too excited about letting people leave here after a beer or two...may have to rethink that part a bit.

Dale, Sounds good, I'm in. What about making it BYOB, that may take some of the risk out of it??
