Well, Paul, you've answered all the questions I had, and then some! Thanks!

Now all I have to do is get some $$ together. the price on the new Honda is really good, but I go cash, no loans, so I have to find a way to put it together. Will let everyone know how things go.

Any bike can be greatly improved with suspension customized for you and the type of riding you do. Make sure the person you choose asks the correct questions like weight, speed, type of riding, solo or 2-up, ect. I just finished getting my 990 suspension dialed in (took 2 trys) and its fantastic. It now handles my style of riding much better than stock

Short notice, but if anyone is interested in tackling a few more miles of the Centennial Trail (from Thompson Pass) in the morning (early Sunday), PM me. The snow should at least be melted enough to get around it by now.

If it was a black DRZ SM, a red FZ! and a red 250 Ninja, that would have been me. I was with my son and his wife. We were riding to their place in Alberton. I left there this morning, road over petty creek rd and took hwy 12 to Lewiston. just got back 20 minutes ago.

The three I saw were on BMWs...one was a lady on a 650GS.

I almost rode Petty Creek Road Saturday. Cruised over to Missoula for lunch at Famous Dave's, dinked around Lolo National Forest (near Deep Creek), then rode home to hang out with my wife. About 9.5 hours in the saddle total.

They are getting ready to pave petty creek, the first 13 miles.

Fish Ck a few miles west is a nice alternative to Petty Ck on I90.

Just thought I would weigh in a bit, for another $300 you get fully adjustable suspension on the KLX. From what I have read the new Honda 250 DS bike does not have adjustable suspension. To me some level of tuneablility is worth $300.
And on a side note, no im not dead, no Randis bike isnt built yet, but we are looking at getting her something two wheeled tomorrow...
