I like old fools on relics but underwear race? Now that sounds entertaining.

The flier was a little difficult to figure out as far as what time the races are or maybe I haven't had enough coffee. Is the one schedule the same for all three dates?

Anyone else want to go to the races and watch old fools on relics and Valley Rider too?

Spokane fair grounds Sat. Aug 21 for the debut of my 1968 Yamaha DT1 project bike.

Never been to the Fairgrounds, but from the photo on their website, looks to be 1/4 mile or so.

I'll be entering in the "Vintage Am" class for twin shock bikes earlier than 1980. Might be my best chance to do good. Might be some other old fools on relics.
It's been 35 years since I've ridden on a oval track!!
Good luck. I wish I could be there to watch. I am looking forward to the pics cause I KNOW SOMEONE will be there to take them . Give em hell

I think I can sneak away from work a little early saturday. Will you be able to stay awake to see the main event? It doesn't start until 7pm?

Got it. I will call you this afternoon. Your tall friend and I will be in town today. Maybe we can meet up for dinner tonight.

Gates open at noon, practice 1:30-3:00, heats and semis start 4:00, something to do with underwear...? and mains start at 7:00.

Now all I need to remember is "keep turning left" and for godsake, don't crash!!

I might be up to watch the race this weekend if my mom leaves town by then.

I broke my back last weekend so I may not be up for sitting on a hard wood seat for a few hours.

Rest of the story please. This doesn't sound good, is this why your mom is in the area? If you need anything you have my number.

Just got back from there today. Whirlwind tour in the cage with the wife. One full day is NOT enough time to take in GNP. Wow ... I was exhausted just from taking it all in. Going back again and taking several days... now if I could just get the wife on some sort of 2 or 3 wheeled form of transportation.

Got up this morning with all kinds of positive energy... Going to fill the tank with a fresh mix of race gas and Blendzall. Gas cap comes off slick as a whistle and I see this. Clean as much off as I could (inside and out) and I have a real good fuel filter, so.... We'll see what happens
