A little background on this.

This photo was taken of me on a beautiful summer day last year by a good friend. It was right after a slow speed layover and I just got done picking the bike up. The bike is stuck upright in the sand from me mucking around in it. A couple months later I was on Shell Rotella's website getting my nerd on looking at specs of the 15w-40. I noticed they started a promotion online for a photo caption contest. "work hard play hard". I entered this photo into the play hard category for a chance to win 500 gift card to walmart or 2013 dodge ram 4x4 with a 10k upgrade package and taxes paid. Needless to say i forgot about the contest till I got an email saying a was finalist, one in ten, I filled out the release documents and basically gave them permission to sodomize me in public. Immediately I called my buddy that took the pic and said "guess what, we might win a truck" (remember this ain't my photo!!) After a few days he calls me back and says if I win the truck its mine!.... Fast forward to January, Me anxiously awaiting a truck to arrive at my door.... I get a nondescript letter in the mail with a generic letter head and a 500 walmart gift card inside. No truck but Hell YES!.

It is decided immediately that the 500 dollars would be spent at the Honolulu sams club during a week long vacay on Oahu with my buddy and his wife. (that took the photo). It was a awesome, we blew it all on booze, expensive coffee, giant chunks of fresh Ahi tuna and seafood. pretty much wined and dined 6 people in Hawaii for a whole week.

and that folks is a true story and one helluva cool photo!
