Could be any Sunday morning in the Yarra Valley...except for those skies!!

I'd LOVE to be in that blob in the sky...

Roadside furniture...always wanted to stop to take a shot of those guys.

A fit-ball, a rubbish bin, a pair of Crocs, an egg-flipper and a few length of stormwater pipe...and you've got yourself one hell of a Cool Granny!!

All around the Flowerdale/ Strath Creek area.
Quite a few dead-ends, ending in farms/ fences/gates, too.
Hume and Hovell Cricket Ground, Spring Creek Rd., Triangle Rd, Reedy Crk. Rd, Moores Rd....lots and lots of little roads and tracks in the area.
Extremely quiet and peaceful on a morning like that.

Thanks for looking in

Following your lead

Hi GlitchO,

Like most of Melbourne's motorcyclists, got out and about today! Headed for Strath Creek & Flowerdale but spent a lovely long time tootling along fire trails between Buxton and Yea, so ran out of day and took to the tar to zoom off home. So doing the copy-cat thing on the roads you did will have to be another time!

Herb and Granny say G'Day!

Goodonya! Nice couple, aren't they?
Was that you standing at the side of the Old Basin-Olinda Rd. with a camera yesterday morning, just after 9?
Didn't quite see which model GS it was...but a magic morning turning into a cracker of a day! Nice to see someone else getting off his bike with a camera

Another sparkling Sunday...

Another one in that irregular series of "photo"-rides...where riding takes a backseat and and trying to catch the day on the memory card is the prime reason for wandering about out there.
Again, Melbourne's north-east....

Pinching a vacant driveway in Wonga Park for a bit of a "stolen" shot.

A second earlier those 2 were bill-to-bill and squawking their heads off at eachother... flapping wings, gyrating necks and all.... the second I finally had the camera ready it was back to feeding peacefully g:

What a sight!! :chug: The Melbourne Vespa Club on a Sunday outing.

Love all the paraphernalia, the 60's skidlids, the wicker basket on the rear etc s:

Along the ridges of Warrandyte

Squizzy, Lynne and the Tripod...having a BALL!

Shyte...where's the chair going??

That must be a witches hut....Warrandyte backblocks.

Gravelling up towards the Christmas Hills.
Then I heard someone bagging it up, coming up the those Esses :chug:

Closer!!

Another way to spend a glorious Sunday morning in the saddle.

Selfie...the world from the chair.

Rare find along the way...a Zongshen 250 tilt-tray, gulp!
Got me the yellow card for letting them all wait while I got all the details from the friendly lady running the nursery.

A forgotten, semi-overgrown, old lookout above Yarra Glen...awesome views right down to Arthurs Seat on the Peninsula ~80km away, Mt. Donna Buang, Mt. Dandenong, Black Spur and nearly the whole Yarra Valley with all it's vineyards and dams...YAYY!!
