And it's thawed out

Kevin I passed you on RT 16 near the chicken farm this morning.
Went and met Ladydraco and HB. My kind of people and they have a place to die for.
Enjoyed meeting them.

Route 614 was a Rd I had never ridden. It was made for motorcycles. Very nice ride.

Great day today despite a little flat tire for starters...that was an easy fix and no more problems to report.
(plugs are so much easier than tubes tpar)

Mark...the only thing that looks to have changed in BG is that the store looked to be closed.

Lady D and HB..loved your choice for a farm!! It was great to chat with you for a bit and the 'berry pie was great too!

iloco..sorry we missed each other again, I wondered if that may have been you on the Strom that exchanged waves with me. Guess that I should have slept in just a bit longer, eh?


Rode lots of twisty pavement today...all pavement all weekend but lots of curves. today included another run back down 16 then out 58 and down thru Backbone Rock thru Shady Valley over the mtn on some little twisty road, into Erwin for a late lunch at the Hawg-n-Dawg then into NC on 197 followed by 80 with a few nice little connectors tossed into the mix as well.



I rode so fast down 197 and 80 that I practically outran the satellites.

It was a beautiful morning atop the mtn in West 'by God' Virginia this morning.
















...it looked to be a bit soupy down in the valleys of the Old Dominion though.

I stopped in Rocky Gap to call Lady D to let them know their farm was about to be invaded.































You don't see many RC signs......

I know that Halloween is still a good 6 weeks out but these old abandoned churches and farms in the foggy valley made it feel a little closer.

The fog cleared as I approached 'the farm' but then the traffic jammed.
















But HB and Lady have already been out decorating their driveway for Halloween.
