Joining in with the leaf peepers on the BRP.....colors were better on the lower roads though.

Many trees are already bare except for the boring brown oaks.

Don't despair, there's still some color....

The best part of the BRP is still the roads leading to it IMHO ...here we go down 226A

A fly by of the pavilion as we go back up NC 80

No more twisty shots climbing up...but I am happy to report a very 'low traffic' run!

Table Rock and Hawk's Bill atop a distant ridge in this fly by from the BRP.

Looked like it would be a nice day atop Mount Mitchell.
