Back down 28 to 74 to the BRP to 276 then backroads back to 74 towards home....

Kenny,

Between your pics here and Cuttle's thread, you guys keep my mouth watering to ride some of these roads. I live in N. Wilkesboro at the foot of 421, got to get my work schedule straightened out to put some real quality time on the "recently new to me 99 KLR".

i have put 2500 miles on it doing the commute (only 5k on it total), but would love to put a lot of miles on it riding the roads you guys ride.

thanks to both of you for posting up such great pics.

Where is Devil's Courthouse? Looks familiar in the pic, and I think I stopped there on a long bike trip several years ago.

Hi Mark!

Devils Courthouse is on the BRP very near where NC215 crosses. Down the South side of the mtn on 215 there's a dead end FR that climbs back up towards it that accesses a popular hike to Courthouse Falls.

Reddog* posted his states traveled in 2012 map elsewhere and made me jealous. Didn't get to fill in too many states this year and doubt that I'll be adding anymore in Nov-Dec...

So here's my 'moto states' for 2012....funny thing is that I logged more miles this year than I have in a while, just riding around in circles I guess!
