The plan on Wednesday Sep 7th was to take a little day trip out to the Pacific coast!

....but first I would have my coffee and breakfast on the back porch of my cousin's place as the sun rose behind Mt. Hood....

...gettin' outta town!

....and into some of this!

We did it! Day tripped all the way across the country!!

I've always said to anyone listening(and those who aren't) that before I even think about riding abroad, I want to see the sights around this country.

The pics from Nebraska, Montana, & Wyoming drive that wish home. So much to see.

Get caught up around the house and shop and cruise over to Tellico Plains next weekend dood.

There certainly is plenty of great stuff to see here in North America..plenty that I have yet to see as well!

...but I'd say that if the chance to travel abroad ever presents itself....go for it!! We never know if or when that chance may come around again.

Special trip, no question- (and not in the special short bus kinda way)

Bob Ross would be envious of the landscapes

ALL of this.

Couldn't have said any of it better myself.

Hope to see you next weekend, Kev, so you can tell us about your "exploits".

Thanks guys!

I still haven't even opened the shed since unpacking the bike last Sunday!

We had storms and heavy rain here this morning so I slept in and am just now eating breakfast...still too wet to mow so I guess bike maint. will be next.

I may crash the Old's Cool on Saturday night like I did in the Spring.....that'd be the most I can do this time around though...

Heading inland from the Oregon Coast....

We actually cut the coastal leg of the trip short to have PARTY BOSS's bike checked out at the dealer in Eugene....

He traded it for a rental car for the day and then I let him plat ralley racer and chase me across a few short-cuts across the Cascade Mtns.

It was a cloudy, hazy day at Crater Lake so it wasn't as pretty as it could have been there..
