good for her... just be careful, or you'll be sitting at home taking care of the pooches and your wife is going to play in Colorado.

Believe me...she's tired of it being the other way around!

Her schedule is so crazy with work, work and school that she barely ever even gets a full day off to herself anymore....

CADVR is always a good time. Pinktoad and I are still pretty sore about having to miss it this year for work.

Great pics of the Fall foliage, Kevin!

257bob has me feeling guilty about just doing drive-bys of the Living History Farm in KMSP ..so now I'm out 2 bux and have a low hanging sun to deal with

Told ya it was the outhouse.

I'd look good sitting on that front porch!

exposures challenged me

Cuttle?

Lots of old style sheds n such....

I'm not sure if that's a forge or a pizza oven Either way...I'd like to be around when it's fired up!

I think that somebody may actually live here!

Satellite TV, heat & air, pick up truck

I made a new friend.

Another garden plot...looks like they really do work the place.

This contraption is for mashin' all the goodness out of sourgum.....

Then it's cooked down into molasses.

If I'm gonna fight the lighting I may as well look it in the eye!

Time to ride down to the swimming hole.

OK...down to the swimming hole.....

I paid my two dollars and want to get my money's worth!!

I think this is called Lake Crawford there's also a campground with an RV dump station back in here as well as the swimming area and boat rentals. (canoe and paddle)

No such thing as a 'natural lake' around here.

Since I was wearing my extra comfy Sidi boots a short hike was no problem.

Was it worth $2

It's halloween....why not move into an old haunted house?

Then just up the road you'd think it was June looking at this field.

Taken about 300 yds from where I'm currently sitting.

It was a very restful and relaxing 3 day weekend thanks for checking in!
