A little oasis in the middle of a big 'ol state!

Found a little bit of twisty dirt too.

Along with it came my first experience with 'bump gates'

You literally bump the gate with your front wheel then rush through it before it slams shut on you!

I hit 3 of them that day and this one was heavy and needed an extra kick 1/2 way through!

Then all of a sudden 3 familiar bikes appeared. Psyclops was about to tow redone in an attempt to bump start the dead katoom!

I hung around for a while and enjoyed the entertainment

and made sure they had things in control, of course.

I'm not very good at people pics but I tried to zoom in and get a few candid shots on Sat out in the yard. Most didn't turn out very good, bad lighting, out of focus, funny facial expressions etc....but here's a few that I thought were maybe OK

....Pansy and Hollywood sum up my people picture takin' skills.

Maybe it's not just me?.....Trip and Grainbelt might really be shady characters!

Lady D that photog was set up East of Leakey? atop the hill in a mild sweeper....

That was what was once called the THC Rally short for Texas Hill Country. It's no longer posted on the open forum and kinda goes by word of mouth now, I consider myself lucky to have been allowed in!!
