Had a '71 R50/5 back in the old country and now a R60/5 with 750 jugs, heads and carbs:
![]() Ooops, sorry for the large iomage. ![]() I always had to push the R50/5 as its 500cc and 27/34 horses really struggle with the weight. The 750 is a well balanced motorcycle that allows you 10hrs of riding on any given day day, comfortably. My then 69yr old Dad did 4000mls in 10 days around Ontario on it. It has character and will serve you well. For a nearly 40yr old bike and compared with other vintage bikes, maintenance is simple and affordable and you can utilize the bike as your daily rider. Go for it.
