At 453 lbs ( stated weight ) it'll be much lighter than every other big cruiser out there.

And be 150bhp, and have good lean-angle for the class.

I think what will make this bike more revolutionary in power cruiser terms is that it will have a reasonable weight. All that power in a much lighter bike will make it a much more fun bike all around.
Am I allowed to quote myself?

I'm Austin Powers's Fasher

What I noticed about it is the humongous front brake, which means (in my limited knowledgeable opinion) that it's going to be quite front wheel biased, so a cruiser it is not, more like a hooligan bike (and we can't have too many of those, can we now?!)

The Multistrada is effectively a 1198 that's been disguised as a GS clone, and with a retuned engine.

The Diavel uses the same mechanics and electronics as the Multistrada, so think of it as a litre bike in a V-Rod's clothing...

So, yeah, I reckon it's going to be a hooligan bike too.

Yes, yes indeed, when the ink from your pen contains such brilliant arguments there's good reason to re-sharing it with the World and, not to forget, admire your own style and syntax that we mere mortals can only dream of comprehending and emulate poorly.

I was looking to get the Monster, but I think they cleaned it up too nicely, whereas the old one had the style and looks of a real meanie (you know, "lets rip all this shite off and get it some more horsepower!" style. The original street fighter style). I don't think the new "Streetfighter" quite covered that segment in the way they wanted it and it didn't get that great reviews either, but this one might make small children cry, scare retirees and knock birds off their branches and that is the deffinition of a hooligan machine! I'd rip that cowling off of it first, let everything hang out like fat bottomed girls

Seems like Ducati's version of the Moto Guizzi Centauro, albeit with Ducati performance to boot. As far as I'm aware, the Centauro didn't sell well at all.

Even if there had been thousands wanting a Centauro I doubt Guzzi could've supplied them. Remember too how edgy their build quality was then too in comparison to Ducati today.
The Ducati name now has cachet to a lot of people.
