The taller GS windscreen and Touratech Spoiler???
Has anybody matched up the 3" taller BMW GS windscreen and the Touratech Spoiler. I want to buy one but am not sure if the taller windscreen can hold the weight... Anybody?

Forget the Gs/GSA Shield, go right to Aeroflow, I've had both and would do the same on the next bike, you can toss the wiglets too. Even had the TourTech spoiler on the GSA, Toss it out... My experience. I had both 07 GS & GSA and about 5'11"

Interesting... I have the large GS windshield and I wouldn't have thought it could put up with the extra resistance provided by the TT spoiler.

Have that
I have a GS (1150) with a GSA windscreen and the TT spoiler. I think it works very well and does not look like I have a super large windscreen.

Check out a Laminar Lip. I have one on my GSA and it works great. Came with the bike so i don't know about cost.

MRA VTA-10 adjustable windscreen extension
Thought I would post here as I've been trying to solve the dirty wind on my 09 BMW R12GSA. I had one of the TT spoilers but didn't like trying to look thru the clamp. I purchased a MRA VTA-10 and just completed the install.
Got it thru twistedthrottle. http://www.twistedthrottle.com/image...ra%20extension It looks like it accomplishes what I want (haven't riden yet) .. will post again tomorrow with feedback. http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo...eat=directlink http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo...eat=directlink http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo...eat=directlink http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo...eat=directlink

Keep in mind the install is a little tricky on the adventure windscreen. The spacing between the mounting brackets puts you right on top of the lip at the top of the screen. I wanted as much height as I could get from the spoiler and that means mounting it as high as possible. It all works but the plastic back bracket has to be broken into two pieces in order to clamp. I can send additional pics if needed.
My first ride was this morning and result is huge improvement. As you say the flexibility of moving the spoiler up and down is nice. I had a similar spoiler on a k12RS. Worked great there as well. Take care.
