real time help with map conversion?

Does someone have the ability and Garmin Mapsource software to convert a free map for Chile and Argentina to a file that can be read in my Nuvi 265wt?

Here is the map link http://www.proyectomapear.com.ar/

The download requires one to register (free) to download the file(s) and the site is in Spanish, but there are instructions in English.

Alternatively, I can email you the file(s).

I'm leaving today for South America and would really like some maps better than the Garmin basemap.

I have a mac and need the Mapsource software running on a PC to convert the file(s).

Anybody with the expertise?

Thanks in advance.

S America file

Leaving today???? The file is 180 MB.. how can a person send it to you? I can only send 10 MB per attachment. You figure out a way and I can send it to you. You planning on putting it in the internal memory or on an SD card?

Chile and Argentina map

OK, I figured out a way. I’ve spent the time to create an image file to load directly to an SD card. Download the file from: http://www.multiupload.com/2A5YAUF9P7 Click on the “Multiupload Direct Download” link. You’ll have to have a torrent download program to download. The zip file is 118 MB is size. Once downloaded, unzip and transfer the file”garmin” to an SD card. Plug the SD card in and you should be good to go. You may have to navigate to the map in your gps menu to activate it. The map is an unlocked map. Hope this helps you out. Good luck.
