Awesome ride report!
Expanded my vocabulary as well: I find myself saying 'sulfur!' all the time

Days 22-25 I have never spent so many days in one city and will never do that again. Even if there was absolutely nothing to do I still wanted to stay there and just relax a bit after these boring 8600km. So here are some pics of Ulaan Baatar. This is a place where I slept. Its name reflects pretty well my style of travelling, doesn't it? ![]() State Departament Store. ![]() WTF?! ![]() |

I met again guys from Spain. KTM is repaired
The Tenere is overloaded, so they gave me canister with some gas as they will not need it anymore. Cool. ![]() I went to Museum of Nature which was really cool. Even if it wasn't it costed less than 2 USD But there was one particular thing that really caught my eye. Can anyone explain to me please what is a wild ass? ![]() No matter how good it looks maybe I shouldn't have bought such yummy breakfast as I have diarrhoea since the very first day I entered Mongolia..? ![]() Uploaded with ImageShack.us |

Day 26 These days in Ulaan Baatar kinda sucked. There was some rain and also something else that I cannot describe. Something was wrong and I don't know what. Perhaps too many nights at the same place..? Anyway, time to leave the town. ![]() ![]() ![]() Did I show you my Touratech GPS holder? ![]() Damn!! What a sulfur!! I have travelled to many countries and always WITHOUT a GPS. I find it stupid. But this year they forced me to buy a GPS |

Great ride report. Enjoying it very much. A ''wild ass'' is when a horse and donkey did the ''big nasty'' and now the offspring is roaming free in the desert.

This kind of riding is not a big problem even as for me - offroad beginner. The major problem is that "road" sometimes suddenly becomes a sand. And this IS a problem when you do not expect it.
Crossroad. ![]() ![]() ![]() In Mongolia there is some very special kind of space that I really wanted to see. These three weeks to get here were worth it even though I understand that the nothing I always search for during my trips might be quite stupid reason to go somewhere so far away. Nevermind. ![]() |
