Damn, sorry to hear this Jenny

I know this is no consolation for you, but you went further and did better then most of us here would have done...............I hope you heal up well and have the chance to give it another go

Early morning Dakar catch up for me, not the news I was hoping to read. The rest of the Dakar will miss something not being able to follow Jenny+Piglet. Hope it is not too serious and recovery is quick. Will miss you for the rest of the race.

So sorry to hear the news, Jenny. Was in knots all morning waiting to hear why you'd disappeared from the tracking.

Thank you for bringing us along with you on your first Dakar. It's been seriously cool to follow the story from "expensive letter" to race time.

I look forward to cheering for you in your next rally!

Wow. Well, she really did make it farther than most of us could. She didn't quit, and making through the difficulties in the earlier stages proved her mettle.

Good luck getting better, Jenny. Selfishly we want you here (on advrider) telling us inside stuff about your experience if you can.

Also, if she's going to have to go through all that suffering, at least she has a friggin' awesome, terrible, dramatic, heart-rending picture of it!

And what a photo it is... Absolutely gutted

In the last four days, you've lived more than I have lived in a year.

Cheers and good on ya. Been following along with you since the Tenere build thread for the Heroes and Legends rally.

Somehow, I get the feeling that we're not quite through following your adventures just yet...

All the best.

Then again she might not want the reminder.
Best of luck either way. Thanks for taking us along.

Still No News from Jenny - She's been air lifted to Hostpital and I guess has not got Piglet or her phone - Both of which she can not live with out.

As soon as she phones I'll post up on here.

Typical ADVrider!

Must. Take. Pictures...

Hope the medical facilities in Chile are better than in the Canary Islands as seen in Dakars of old. I'm sure that Patsy will be hassling ASO for information and making sure that Jenny gets properly looked after. Katie em please let us all know if you find out that there's stuff that she needs.
