My first "bike" was Latvian made Delta moped that my parents gave me for 15-th birthday. Still have it

First motorcycle that I had was 1949 made IZ-350-

Weird thing is, I still consider IZ-350 as most comfortable bike for longer trips

bikes

One of Dad's Triumph Tigers. I was hooked.

3 or 4 bikes before this one but I did put 88,000mi on my RD350 2 smoker The Ossa 500cc Yankee was also a blast but no pic here. Will dig and see if I can find my metallic flake purple chopper pic!

Loved my IT200

What can I say? Those petroglyph artists weren't all that talented when I was a youngster.

My first bike was the 73 SL125 I got it when I was 12 from my uncle who bought it new. A great fun bike that was the start of the bike addiction!

This is a 1980 xs650 heritage special. It had an electric and kick start.

Wooow ... Thanks a lot for your answer.
I didn't know anything about the existance of XS Heritage special, and I don't think those bikes where available in France in the 80ies (or in the rest of the European Union) but only in the US.
But a girl friend of mine has got a '79 XS1100 with a side car and she's using now her third engine ... I met her 20 years ago on that XS1100 and she already had the side car (for her daughter), and she was also hauling a trailer. It seems that XS will never die ... or neithertheless not before us.

This was actually my second bike but it came as a kit. I just had to put it together...

and then once it was together I obviously thought I was Street Hawk. I was only 16!

This CT70 was actually my 3rd bike, I had two Honda Mini 50's before that. My brother was riding the SL100.

My first bike was a Kawasaki LTD700. Top heavy, with tons of torque. I'm the guy wearing the helmet that looks like I'm about ready to get into a rocket ship. My young wife and I were getting ready to leave on our first motorcycle trip ever.
