I`m guessing these other countries` were pretty miserable before the UK, USA, and Oz went there.

Recently on a ride from Adelaide to Andamooka, I followed the same route of the Santos Tour Down Under and travelling through towns such as Tarlee, Rhynie, Auburn, Watervale and Clare the civic pride was just awesome to see.
The bunting along the towns, painted antique pushbikes and every second dwelling had the Australian flag flying.

shit it looked nice.

The Great Endeavour (car) Rally July 2012

Tooowoomba to Yepoon via the Gulf (4,000 K's) in a EA Falcon Wagon

https://great.endeavour.com.au/

Well it went like this.....a good mate of mine who had a motorcycle crash a couple of years ago and is now in a wheelchair recently acquired a EA Falcon Wagon.

Upon having a look underneath it for him it was found to have a nice big bash plate so one beer led to another and the next thing ya know we've entered this years rally

Sooooooooo I reckon some of you adventure addicts have ridden/driven up in that area and as a lot of the rally is off the main roads you may be able to fill me in on what we may expect to encounter

We've never done anything like this so it's all new to us and of course we'll be running a couple of ADV stickers to say thanks.

Steve.

Ps; I might mention that anyone wishing to jump on board as a sponsor is welcome pm me for that kind of stuff please

The pasty is regarded as the national dish of Cornwall. Following a nine year campaign by the Cornish Pasty Association, the trade organisation of about 50 pasty makers based in Cornwall, the name "Cornish Pasty" was awarded Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) status by the European Commission on 20 July 2011

Many parts of Australia, including the Yorke Peninsula, the site of an annual pasty festival since 1973, which claims to be the world's largest. A clarification of the Protected Geographical Status ruling has confirmed that pasties made in Australia are still allowed to be called "Cornish Pasties"
