Fill a milk/beer bottle with hot water. Pour the water out after a couple of minutes and place the open bottle mouth over the boil. Make sure you get a good seal. Place a wet face washer around the bottle to cool it down. Physics takes over and as JSM would say 'Why is it so?'.
