Seems as though the "quit" and "enter" buttons could be awkward to access.

If you had thick lether road bike gloves on then they will be awkward, with off road gloves i doubt it will be a problem.

I really dont see this mount being that good for proper off road use. It would be loads better if the top section of the mount above where it says "GPSmap 62ST" on the gps was one solid peice rather than having a gap. Its too flexi in that area.

They are. That's my main complaint with it.

Does anybody know if it's possible to change the color of a track being followed on the 62st?

I've changed the color of the track in the Track Manager (to white), but if I access the track via the Find menu (to follow it with guidance) it turns pink again. I've gone through every setting I can find to change the pink to something else, but haven't found anything.

Note, I'm not trying to change the color of the track I'm leaving, but one that I'm following. Track, not route.

Yes you can change the track color, you said you changed it white! Is that track turned on? The 62/78 turns off all tracks and changes their color when they are downloaded.

If they are "on" pan the map to where the track is and it should be there in White. (I use Dark Green.)

Sounds like you are using Trackback and the 62 treats a atrack you are navagating like a Route on 60/76 and highlights the track in Pink.

Just follow the track without navagation and you can see it in any color you want.

Yeah, that has been my workaround so far. Was trying to find a way to change the color when navigating. Can that be done?

Why would you choose to follow it as trackback rather than just following it on the screen? I dont see any extra benefits?

There are some fgood eatures, but few people use them. With Trackback you can display data items on the map. I have mine set up to display "Miles to Dest" and "ETA at Dest". I have only used it a few times.

I usually check the Groundspeak forums before applying updates. If there's anything unusual with it, there's sure to be whining on a topic about it.

Thanks for the tip. Loaded it now and all seems well. To me map navigation seems to be faster. Not sure if its just my imagination!?
