gordy hiding from the wind

the switchbacks on the way down

a cool birds nest

revenge

back to the riding

this is how Retroone rides everywhere

an old mill?

the gap

and the river

the final stretch of dirt

Thanks for the great tour and for getting the RR up Grizzz!

I haven't loaded all my pics yet, but hope to tonight.

Here are a few more.

We rode a few rocks.

Here is the guy responsible for it all doing a trials move on his 650.

The line he is taking is the worst one with an undercut, but the half worn out dual sport tire should do the trick.

WTF!!! that rock was for times as high as the picture shows and twice as steep with an undercut base and a down hill sandy gravel approach .
That picture makes that rock look like nothing

Or did I just hit the ground that hard

That's awesome. Wanna do that trail sometime. If anything, I'd be fun to watch...

Nice

We were not the only ones heading South. We passed this guy and slowed back down for a pic.

You know how the H-D guys give you the V sign for their twins?
Well, what's he telling us???... that he is running on three cylinders? His wife/girlfriend was cracking up.

We were going to be riding here.

Grizzzly has been scouting this area out, but we could never get together until now. The cold up north forced our hand.

This is about 60 miles north of Mexico along the Rio Grande.

The mighty Rio Grande is a trickle this time of year.

We parked on the far side of Conchas dam and rode south and around to get to here. No riding on the dam.

Cactus and water.

This is big country. Real big country. I am used to open space but this area is huge with no one out here.

Here is the group getting re-grouped for the run up the wash.

The wash starts our like many others except more gravelly instead of loose sand.

I was a little apprehensive, but I think the guys like my new pants!

And.....away we go.
