A deceptively wide lake, when approached at speed trying to catch air up a blind hill, followed by a huge splash, can be really funny to see from 100 feet behind. My friend Kris after ditching at 45MPH on an XR80 into a dyed blue pond. I wish I had the pic where the bike was just gone, totally submerged, like where is it?

The rough patch is where he hit when he locked up the front end and went over the bars, just before bouncing into the water. LOL.

Agreed! Wouldn't want to be in any of those slot canyons either when it starts raining. Same trip, in Capitol Reef:

This is the same bike with the 8 pack canadians on the back. And yes, not one beer perished. I was at Cape Ray in NFLD, if you notice the surf it was very windy. I made a u-turn and the wind blew me over.

In this one, I was headed in the other direction. Too much throttle, mud, not enough knobs.
aw..shit.

Talking I wanna play !!!!!!

If it weren't for the well placed tree stump by the forks, the bike would have gone over the edge, and dropped down a ravine of some 40 to 50 feet.

This is not me, but this video basically demonstrates what I was about to do:

My try at the water crossing was recorded, but I haven't got a copy yet. However, afterwards I did get to make this video:

Once that was done, it was spark plug out and turn the bike on its side to drain some more.
