The broken ankle adventure worked out fine. I gave him four Advil and a 5 HR Energy drink-He was shaking but rode hard and fast. We unloaded his bike and held it up so he could get on. He made it to Burns and got picked up. Cast is still on...

My first "drop"

Made some rookie mistakes. A little bit too fast, some muddy grooves, some loose and heavy branches and a whole lot of "target fixation". As a result, front wheel called it a day and parked myself 90 in the grass. Only my selfconfidence and ego got a a bit damaged. Mirrors had to be retightend. Just picked it up, good to go. Proofs again these bikes are really "made" for crashing

and yes... picture first :)

I don't have a huge crash story behind this. Just a bad park job on an idling motorcycle.

What I learned,
1. Clean even the unseen parts of the bike once in a while.
2. An idling motorcycle aimed downhill will eventually find its own comfortable place to lay down.
3. It's so true in that the first thing I wanted to do was to grab the camera.
4. As a friend pointed out when I showed him the photo, why are flammable tiki torches near a heat source like a water heater. Haha

Just a curious question: Are GS's narcoleptic? There are sooo many of them laying down and napping !

Thanks! I came away with a bruised palm, and a lesson about where attention should be paid while riding.
