Tellico Plains motorcycle gear store..

So like me I'm sure many of you lament the fact that Tellico Moto is no longer around. Good news though, it's basically being resurrected, as Cherohala Biker Gear. Kristie, the woman that runs the Charles Hall museum gift shops (and "biker" t-shirts) is starting to pick up the slack. The store is located right at the start of the Skyway, next to the museum and visitors center. She now has some Klim and Olympia gear in stock, working on First Gear, Tourmaster/Cortech, and I've suggested Wolfman luggage to boot (and showed her all my stuff). She has a bunch of perforated gear and rain gear right now.

So now when you come to stay at the Farmhouse Inn, or eat at the Tellico Grains bakery, the Beach, Kats, or the Tellicafe, you can now peruse and buy quality gear! Yeah!

The only "cheap" gear she has so far is Frogg Toggs, because the cruiser crowd won't buy an expensive Olympia rainsuit.. Yes, one customer even bitched that $25 was too much for gloves..

I took the family and some kids up to Bald River Falls today. We ate Tellico Grains pizza and stopped in at the visitors center. I'll have to check out more when I come through on a bike. We wanted to go further up Cherohala, but we ran out of time.

Good to know...I was not aware of that place.

I'll have to swing by the next time I'm up that way.

Thanks for the info...
