Nice grab! Can you give us a few details on the tag location, road/hwy so I can update the tag list on the first page?

I guess I should of road east fewer taggers chase the far east tags but I know where the NC Tag is and I thought I knew where the NC ABC tag was so I headed West. Even getting Bruced it has been a nice ride. Need to head for the house and with the wrong countershaft sprocket on the XRL it will be a slow ride home.

I was surprised to see some snow still in the shaded areas out this way.

Great to see you out and about NC Okie! I wouldn't be surprised if we see you grab the NC Tag soon. Did you ride up to see the "Table Rock"? I really wanted to but it was icy and foggy when I was there.

NC ABC Tag-o-rama Cabarrus County Tag

I went for it today and ran out of time. I was hoping to get some old downtown shot or landmark but this is it.
Looking at the size of this muffler, I bet it could quiet the sound of a cannon. If you kan't figure out where it is, I kan give you more clues.

You know I love my XRL to death but dam I need to get a bike that covers highway mails better. 10 hours riding and only covering 450 miles is rough!

I road up NC 181 from Morganton and about 10 miles south of Joe's Tag was another Pisgah National Forest Table Rock Picnic sign but it indicated 11.4 miles or something close to that so I turned there thinking I would pass the 8.4 mile sign along the way, WRONG! I turned on Simpson Creek Ave which took me too Table Rock Mountain Rd which was a BLAST even if I had an wore out Dunlop 606 on back and a Street Pirelli up front! Table Rock Mountain Road was worth the trip!

I ended up riding the mountain roads and coming out to 181 at Ginger Cake Rd.

I left the house this morning with a camera and laptop since I am so outdated technology wise my phone doesn't even have a camera on it. I really need a Droid!

I say your clues are right on and there's a great street view to confirm the location. Its 182 miles from me so its pretty safe from me.

NC Okie, I saw that sign too on my way down the mountain to Morganton. I tried to ride out to Table Rock Rd on it but I ran into a locked gate about 1 mile in. I'm glad you had a good time. I'm going to have to make another trip out there since it was icy and really foggy at Ginger Cake Rd. Was it clear enough to see the rock???

The new tag looks like it is 68 miles awayfrom me. Maybe I can get it over the weekend and place it in the next county.
