Drain the coolant! Hell I just took the radiator cap off this morning (first time since 2005) and had to add a quart of the Honda premix just to get it where I could see it!!!!
Seems everyone I work with are always telling me to do some maintenance, check this replace that hell now it will probably leak! |

Caswell County Tag:
![]() This is said to be the home and workshop of an NC master wood craftsman from the early 1800's. Now this is in quotations because it is a clue to who he is not my personal opinion or belief. "There's renewed interest in this master craftsman's legacy and personal history — in part because of the quality of his work, and in part because he was a black man who appeared to own slaves." Also if you ride a bike like mine with limited fuel range fill up before arriving at this small town since there is no gas stations in it. |

With the next couple of stops on the NC ABC tag being Caswell-Catawba-Chatham then CHEROKEE it will be interesting to see if any Hillbillies are paying attention!
Hell even an Tagger from VA could make an easy grab and place the Catawba tag without any issues. Now Cherokee to Chowan to Cleveland is going to be a blast also! |

Nice going Flashback, glad to see the game moving again. I wish I would have had the time to go after that tag. A long day ride up in the hills would do me good right now.

I thought about going after the NC tag yesterday once I got this one but headed south instead. Hit the highest point in several counties in southern NC, Morrow mountain, Uwharries, then back to Knightdale without taking a single interstate or bypass. Long day. Fun ride. This is such a great game.

Filled up the tank 3 times so I'd guess it was somewhere around a 500+ miles loop. 13 hours start to finish. Rain in the early morning west of Greensboro. Sun in the afternoon. Late lunch at Badin Lake. Awesome views from the top of Morrow Mountain. Rain in the Uwharries in the late afternoon made the clay real slick. Raced to keep ahead of the liquid sunshine on the way home as dark approached.
The only issue I had all day was figuring out how to cross Lake Norman without getting stuck in the nastiness that is traffic on the corridor North of Charlotte. I thought RDU traffic was bad. Golly. I made the mistake of coming through Mooresville. Spent 45 minutes in bumper to bumper ook. Flashback screwed with this post 05-15-2011 at 07:46 AM |

In my personal realm, that qualifies as an "epic" ride.
