MonkeyC- Nice job on the video. I love the ducks. Looks like you had a great time. The wife and I are planning to do the whole route next year and it's nice to see some of the actual route.

Ducks n' Ruts

Thanks guys.

I'll ride it at least once next year - easier to get to than the OBCDR!

http://www.flickr.com/photos/5551666...7622131823325/

'WOW - Basically easy terrain. There were some ruts that sneak up on ya. And a nice rocky incline roughly 10 miles after Hwy 410, but nothing my lady couldn't fly over - on her 2ND time off pavement Suppose it would be muddier earlier in the summer.

Stinky - Ducks were found at Lake Chelan SP. We lucked out, popping out at Lake Chelan AFTER the last week of the summer crowds. It was quiet!

Time of year?

I'm thinking about coming up and doing this route next summer - what is the best time of year to ride it?

Thanks - looks like a great route!

Dale,

I'm planning to do it next summer (late June, July or August). I'll probably be on my F650GS or . . .

That's one of the best 5 minutes I spent today. Thanks for putting together the video.

Some friends and I are getting back into Dual sporting and are looking forward to doing this or at least one half or this route. I was wondering if anyone knows if there are some single track or at least slightls rough routes that parallel this route or if its just mainly dirt roads. I love it all but think it would be fun to get into some rough stuff along the way. I noticed that part of it looks to be close to the Mad Lake ORV area.

Big Bikes

Looking at doing the WABCDR this summer on 1200GS bikes. Has anyone done the whole route on a big bike? Are there any sections to avoid on big bikes? Rode the OBDR last summer. It was a blast.

Excellent Video MonkeyC !!.

I very much like the still shots edited in with the Video. It made for a fun 5 minutes. I can't sit through most Videos posted, 5 minutes of riding the same road is BORING.

Your Video was fun to watch, with lots of still scenery to add to the excitement of the ride. I got to laugh at the ducks and view a pretty girl to boot. Take note Video Dudes. That's the way to do it.

Hey Timmer!

Want a riding companion to do this trail? Maybe August? The only bike I've got for that is my Dakar. Hope to be less of a nOOb on two tracks by then.

BTW, that video is the shits! Wish I could get my wife to ride a dirt bike.

I will be doing this with the trusty KLR! Hopefully this summer!!! I'll need to hook up with someone else since all my buddies ride dirt only bikes
