No question that the 110 miles of Hwy 12 between Bryce/Torrey is something special. Several great dirt roads/paths through the area as well that are somewhat epic. Then, at lunchtime, the Boulder Grill serves very tasty burgers

Signal, I want to thank you for this thread and the great photos.
The times I've ridden in Utah are among the highlights of my time as a rider. That Escalante-Boulder section of Hwy 12 pops up in my dreams sometimes...

Now that I've got a DR650, I want to go try out the Burr trail and the Devil's Backbone...inspriation!

Sadly, no pics (digital at least) of Goblin Valley...long story- camera had issues the day I was last there a couple years ago.

I'd suggest watching Galaxy Quest again (the rock planet scene)

Hollow Mountain? Cool. It doesn't have a dusty, old, poorly-stuffed donkey with a caved in face in there like that Hole in the Rock Museum near Moab does it? Cool pics though. I miss the area.

No animals in the store, but some of the food seemed a bit dusty. I opted for a Snickers/Mountain Dew combo I recall .

Utah is slowly becoming one of our favorite ride areas. Especially now that we found there are more roads than I15.

Not that time (it was actually kinda early in the morning, for a saloon anyway....) they do make a good burger, and I'd love a few of their silver dollars to start a collection.

Yeah, sadly many only know Utah by I-15, and perhaps a trip to Moab (not that there's anything wrong with Moab-- headed there tomorrow-- but you get the idea)

Oddly, I had dreams of Moab. I'm heading down this afternoon....in the mini van . My parents are dragging down a trailer to spend a few days, so I'm playing tour guide. Still will be fun, but I know I'm gonna see guys riding, and will try not to sigh out loud
