Who's in?

For those of you who missed the ride for the past 22 years, it's exactly like this:

...Except, we also get this:

...And, then we finish with...

Actual... you know....

....Details!

TL;DR version:
January 1, 2015
Rain Date: Don't be a pussy.
Time: Unclear... but I'll prolly get there around 10 am.
Location: Sidewalk Cafe, 94 AVENUE A, NEW YORK, NY 10009

Well, here's the deal: According to tradition, every New Year's Eve (since 1992!) we all stay sober enough to stupidly ride our motorcycles around Manhattan New Year's Day.

We did it in 2007...

And 2008...

And 2009...

And 2010...

And 2011...

And 2012...

And 2013...

And, 2014!

I think im gonna pass on the IOManhattan This year. Last couple of years it was pretty hectic and last year when we got there most of the riders had already left and done the lap earlier than planned. I think about 10 of us ended up doing the loop together ...

I might just do that Cold finger run instead this year :(

From years past:

Yeah that is the main problem. It seems like its a different time every year and then there are some folks that do the lap as soon as they get there so it turns into a free for all...

Lets see, maybe i will have too much to drink the night before and will choose not to ride all the way out to LI.

This reminds me of a ride we took years ago, think we called it the 3 am 5 boro rally..... Or the 5 points ride. Circa 2005

The ride starts at noon.
Skull leads it- he's on a harley.
Other jokers will leave beforehand.

Did you talk to Skull? Over the years, it has started at all different times, depending on Skull. Sometimes 11. Sometimes 11:30. Sometimes 12. Rogue rides start before. I'd say, get there at 10, have some breakfast, and wait for Skull. If he doesn't show up, follow Wiseblood!

Cool! That means less standing around in the cold! See you at 11:30!

Oh man, I've been going on the 10 am ride for years... now I find out it's really at noon.

Pro tip: The 7 am run has almost no traffic.
