That is just crazy talk, selfish, not!

I've had my right hand for 47 years and if it went away I can asure you I would miss it.

This thread makes me want to adopt/rescue about 14 more dogs.

Ramses, who we adopted from somebody who was moving and couldn't take him. He was a big, goofy, awesome dog. We lost him to a car after having him for only a year or so:

Sandy (aka The Menace), we rescued her when she was 4 or 5 months old. She and her litter-mates had been seized from a home in Philedelphia that had neglected/abused them.

Her favorite place is anyplace warm:

Being a small dog has it's advantages...like being able to lie ON the windowsill:

However, it makes it harder to stick your head out the window:

I took some pictures and made a little video/slide show on Flex's 7 month birthday. Onlookers are welcome to check his growth/progress.

Flex is just a completely different personality than our beloved Flud was.
He's coming around well for his age. He is very loving! He's still a little monster at times.

Best wishes to all who have lost, and those who are beggining the long term commitment of having a buddy.

Alas, since being adopted by a couple Greythounds, I get to use my couch a lot less.

Sandy......

is a very shy little thing that doesn't like to give kisses.
Oh wait....... she's a little thing, but scratch the other 2! :)
What a cutie.

I just rescued a 5 year old shiba inu w 3 legs from my local shelter.Shes been there for the least 2 years because obviously people are too shallow to enjoy a 3 legged animal.Iv had her 3 days and she is just so sweet, shes sleeping in my bed next tome as I type this.I took 3 days off to get better aquainted to her.I like the other peoples dogs in here as well

I've seen a number of three legged dogs do well. Truthfully they get over it!

My friend had a chow that had to have his front leg amputated due to an injury - he was around 4 when that happened - he was a big dog, he never missed a beat after that - he ran around like a nut and he acted as if that leg was never there ! He lived a good life :)

99 points for adopting the unadoptable.
1 point FAIL for not posting any photos.
