I am interested as well. Is this a possibility for you to make? Or is this not likely to happen?

Dr650 post 96 IMS
Hey Man,
If you can look at making one of these for a DR650 with IMS tank, I will buy 5-10 of them from you, and then look to sell them on to inmates and all comers. PM me, I can provide pictures measurements etc. (ps will sell them on at cost for inmates, and I work for a freight company so will keep the cost down). The more the better I presume?? |

PM'ed and emailed you.
Though I doubt this would work out of the box with my DRZ ... I'm sure I could get something fabbed up to fit. Anyone received any of their fairings yet? Any reviews, photos of install, etc.? Many thanks,

Hi all,
slowly there has been made quite some progress in creating the subframe for the XChallenge fairing. Slowly but surely we're reaching a product. Measuring is done, a prototype has been built and the subframe is in CAD now: (CAD drawing) ![]() (Jut and Jul deciding instrument positions) things to do: - define the length of the central spine - find the right bulbs that will get through TÜV - finetune fairing and headlamp assembly location - make the upper part somewhat modular, being able to suit both adventure- and rally riders (riding and reading the instruments sitting down vs standing up, allowing different dash angles and layouts) - get enough fairings (!!) - and finally (don't underestimate this though), fix all unforeseen problems... Cheers from Cheesecountry, Erik and Max |

Btw,
This fairing will most probably not directly fit the TT tank, however I feel with some trimming of the sides I am sure it CAN be made to fit. But beware, the fairing is also attached to the original side panels for a secure fit. And not only to the fairings' subframe. How about selling off the TT tank and get an Xtank?
