Well, it was only made up of two ropes I tyed around my tires.

The rope on the rear wheel broke at one time, because I had too much fun sliding around and opening the throttle at improper times.

Just about freezing, with a thin dusting of fresh snow on inner city cobblestone roads that were already damp to begin with. Yes, it was as slippery as you'd expect.

Just dropped the bike off to have the rear paralever bearings replaced because I couldn't be arsed to do it myself, outside, in this kinda weather. Life's too short to be crawling around on your knees in freezing snow working on such a big lump of cold metal.

I got the idea with the ropes somewhere in this forum, if I remember correctly.

I'd be glad to help you by pointing out some interesting spots, roads and places in Switzerland. But I guess we'll have to do this in another thread.

I would have owned it if it remained in production and had ABS, it was
a rather cheap bike considering what it offered.. but it was discontinued
very early in it's life.. and more or less replaced by the ER6 line..

I know all about them, since I was first eyeballing a used 2004 ZR7S, then a new Z750S.. then
I had no money ;).. and everything changed in a year or so..

Yosemite

A little ride to Yosemite last winter.
The road on which I'm parked is solid ice.
Kinda fun on street tires.

I own no garage queens. If it is in my driveway, it's been ridden hard and put away wet.

Took my first spill today...

Like the title says, I laid the bike down for the first time ever...and did it 20 more times!

This is what I did with a friend of mine today. We took advantage of the blizzard condition around Chicago :) 20 degrees, winds up to 50mph, snow coming down at a good rate!

The Honda CRF50 is awesome in the snow, but it took us about 10 minutes to figure out the fine balance of sticking your foot out, leaning the bike over, and giving it throttle.

It was perfect because the storm was enough to scare any children away to play in it...we had a guy walking his two dogs spectate and laugh at us for a while. Many spills, some riding gear, but no harm done to neither me or the bike. Man was it fun!

And some pics I took of my buddy...

If you guys saw it on SVRider, well, that's because I own an SV and frequent that forum too!
