R1200GSW by CSM (FREEDOMSIDECARS L.L.C.

Just received a deoposiit on an orfer for a sidecar on a new R1200GSW. Quite excited about this build. The bike is due here in June. Sidecar chassis constreuction will begin prior to that. The custom aluminum body per customer specs will be built in the rough prior to the bike delivery. For those who are not familar with this bike it is quite a departue from the previous GS models. Swingarm is on the left side , different frame etc etc. Should be interesting. I see Jay is doing one soon also. Sidecar build off time? LOL.

I imagine dramatic music.

Jay and Claude face off, and sneer at each other. Both of their eyes narrow and the camera pans back to reveal...

A single beer floating in a sea of ice in the cooler. The shop floor is invisible beneath a layer of beer cans, leaked coolant, and rejected subframe parts.

Somewhere in the distance, a dog howls...

There's a long slow Growl from the 17 pound mini Schnauzer as Crystal tries to calm him down.
Jay opens with a disk brake launching it Ninja style at Claude who deflects it with a swaybar he uses to defend himself.....

the dog continues to growl

Far off in the distance that familiar theme music from 'The Good, the Bad and the Ugly' plays... Da-de-dah-de-Dah-Daahh...'.

Claude narrowly eyes his opponent then deftly sweeps away the front of his sarape, to reveal a chrome 17mm spanner with 3 notches in the handle in a low slung holster. His hand casually falls to a few inches away from the glistening tool as his fingers twitch almost imperceptibly. He stares quietly through the smoke curling and rising from the pipe bowl as deadly silence surrounds the moment...

Dave K removes his Cloak of Invisibility and stands next to Claude. He smiles broadly, revealing a gold Gucci tooth with a diamond stud. "Drinks are on me!" he declares.

He opens an Igloo close to him and rummages around in the ice, finally pulling out a perfectly chilled bottle of...

Claudes will more then likley be done before ours. His is for a paying customer, Mine is for me and we are using the bike to proto type many things so not only do we have to make the hardware, we have to tool up to reproduce it for both our standard right side mounts but also for left side mount this goes not only for the mounts but also for the sidecar. It will be done and at the BMW national rally and if we take any orders for customers bikes, they may get done before our demo bike as paying customers come first.
