Hi Bro

Everybody was a perfect gentleman... well ... except that Mr. Cob... made the hack go bouncy, bouncy, bouncy.

I sure did wish you were there.
Howdy Augie,

I am guilty as well. When leaving for our ride I ACCIDENTALLY pulled a little hard and may have inadvertently roosted as you say someone. But I am adamant that it was not intentional unlke the freak in the cast....

Here's my take on WetFest 2011 as copied from the farmerz place.

Friday morning PARTY BOSS called the shop to hear that his bike had checked out to be mostly OK and should survive the rest of the trip

So off we went to get it and head to WetFest!!

...but not before I had to make a little roadside stop of my own.

...to fix this.

Almost ready to roll! There was a 'snag' or to at the dealership to deal with tho....I'll let Rick tell you about that if he should decide to chime in over here.

We had a great ride between Eugene and Bend!

Yep....I'm a shutter clickin' fool! :kny

Lava fields are something that we don't see every day on the East coast.....

3 Sisters

wildlife

Speaking of wildlife.....we had a party to get to....and we were thirsty. :wink

The road to Wachs's place

wildlife

the welcoming committee

...now to only decide where to camp? Gitana to the rescue! Thanks for setting us up! (sorry about the snoring)

Gimpy and his lovely nurse were there!

people were scattered around all over the place! it's a really nice piece of property!

LA Woman was petting another man's wiener right in front of her hubby? What kind of party is this anyway?

TS looks like she doesn't want to know what's going on there, doesn't she?

Uncle Dags wants YOU!

a face like a boiled ham?

CHEESE!

You'll notice that all these shots were taken in the early afternoon before the wildlife got too wild...I don't like holding evidence.

puppies!

who is that beardless feller?

Putts made it!

pssst...she has to help him with everything

..and THE MONEY SHOT!

Was that a good time or what!?!?

Saturday morning I didn't feel my best ...plugged in my net-book to charge and rode to breakfast, I felt better riding than sitting still so the plan was to just go back and free up the outlet I had my net-book plugged into and go do a little exploring.

The road back to Wox's place in a different light.

nomiles came up and introduced himself while I was at my 'low point' of the week. sorry if I wasn't more sociable...

Started out just puttering around down the road past wox place....

Yep...it's still ugly.

Baby got back!

I doubt that any of those pics were taken more than 5 miles from the rally site.

Next I just kinda haphazardly headed over towards Mt. Batchelor

Then caught a view of the Three Sisters (I think) from the opposite side.....

That looks like Broken Top....I'd get a closer look at it later.

Upon realizing that fuel was low and refills scarce, took a turn down to Sunriver and looped back around Batchelor through Cascade Lakes.

Then I spied what looked like a dirt route from Todd Lake all the way across to the town of Sisters.

The only way to find out for sure....

I completely circled that sucker and had views from every angle through out the day.

Getting closer to Broken Top

....and that'd be the rally site dead ahead!

No more pics from Saturday but.....I took a little walkabout Sunday morning.

PARTY BOSS praying that the 'ol R11R would make it home.

Two of our hosts?

Wachs and his wife have a great place! Big THANKS for opening it up to all of us!!

the scene of the crime?

Most of us were taking our sweet time packing up.

The campsites were really spread out and I think that there was something for just about everybody's taste.

The swimming hole

More Sunday morning meditations

Making us look like 'light travelers'

I wonder who slept in the tree house? :wink

My buddy Joe and his traveling companion Cowgirl!

What a great place to have a rally, eh? :mbutt

Well...looks like it's time to fly South for the winter.

:buhbye

Wally*

All loaded up and ready for the road....well almost. It wouldn't start turned out to just be an unplugged clutch switch.

:buhbye

DireWolf, thanks for the route options you posted near the beginning of this thread!

We used those tips as we began the long haul back across the country.

We put the hammer down and much of it became just a blur though

There was virtually no traffic and we held interstate speeds through these sweepers!

Just clicking away like the fool that I am......

Traffic jam!

We even met up with Brad's family vacation!
