I know this setup isn't for everyone but for me actually living on a dirt road and owning both a 690 and 990 I can travel a long way without seeing another human being or cage and for that it works and is very cost effective!

Less then 10 minutes to swap from one bike to the other.

Thanks for the pix. Please tell me about the plates you utilized to mount the RotoPax pods to the pannier frame.

DuctTape, sweet ride and great pics.

Question: is there logic in moving the Rotopax units to the inside position and moving the Kriegas to the outside? Or does that impact rider comfort? I would think you'd want the gas closer to the center of gravity vs. further out?

My new (to me) 690 Enduro. So far 100km together and it showed me the great fun factor that beats inside her. Still learning each other, hope we will make good friends.

Pictures around Barcelona.

Next is find a good home for my beloved '91 XTZ660 Ténéré. If the KTM is half the good as this misunderstood bike everything will be OK between us.

Nice Vid

Oh man, I'm so jealous of all you forest riders out there. I live in Los Angeles, and any day trips for me are all mountain fire roads, consisting solely of hard left and right corners around the mountains.

LOVE the sound your bike is making. I'm guessing that's a helm side mounted go pro, with the complete rear housing? Sounds like a beast!

Cheers mate, its a contour + with an external mic wrapped in cloth stuffed into the back pocket of my jacket. Still learning how best to use it, and I had to send it away as it wont work with class 10 cards.
Exhaust is a Wings with quiet insert

We did a nice ride through Morton NP last week - back home via Monga and Tallaganda forests - 460km loop in perfect riding conditions ...

We go to the coast pretty regularly - will send you a PM next time to see if you'd like to join us ...

At the end of Europe with my trusty war horse. The following day I rode 1728 km in one go. It took just over 25 hours.
