Some rough roads in the land of the blonde, eh? I'd ask for a refund on that, Noyah.

10 min @ 120 km/h cooked my brand new T-63. The rubber must have touched the guard :(

I know most of you guys are going a different direction with your new 690s, but I was never afraid to buck common thinking.

Before...

After...

For when I'm ready (if I'm ever ready) to resell/ trade in...

Wow

Loving the mods you have done on the bike

How are you finding the Touratech Screen? And where did you get the exhaust carbon covers from?

Cheers Neil

It is a "cheapie" from Harbour Freight. If you go on thier website, they usually have coupons that you can print out, and if you wait until the item you want goes on sale, they will let you combine offers. I think it originally retailed around $120ish. If memory serves, I paid around $70ish.

It works great, no complaints, but I think you will need a flat bottom skid plate to utilize it. I certainly would not try it with the stock, plastic skid plate.

Sears sells one that is very similar too. I would not be surprised if it is identical (excusing the different color paint).

It makes changing tires/ wheels, and lubing chains WAY easier. It is also nice for getting the bike up a little higher to work on, and saving your back from bending over so much.. Although, I am seriously considering upgrading to a real bike lift soon.
