Hi I just installed a ralley raid skidplate & centerstand combo that I purchased from an inmate it went on with no issues. My question is how can one use the built in tank, from what I can make out their isn't any way to remove the tank and use the contents without removeing the whole assembly.

The oldest version of the tank doesn't have a petcock. the newer ones have a petcock so you can drain what ever you have in it out the bottom. I'm sure RR would sell you just a new tank.

2009 Kawasaki ZG1400

Get on the part fiche for the '07 640Adventure on the fuel tank parts page and order up a complete crossover petcock. It's part number 3 (pn. 58507003200) along with a few other nick nacks. I'm sure you could source a generic petcock which would work just fine as well.

the old tanks don't have inserts to screw the pet cock to. I'm not sure if the plastic would hold.
