Since I probably won't get away with the perfect ride, I want to claim the Last Drop of the Weekend. After the big and little bike DoR Sunday, I packed the bike and rode home at a blistering 40 mph (to make up for the speeds needed to catch up with the group during the pavement sections). Arriving in the front yard (near the water hose) I put the kickstand down and stepped up on it to get my other leg(the sore one) over the baggage...and down it went tossing me down as well. This was of coarse witnessed by the wife standing there waiting to greet me. Is there a prize or trophy?

Just one more memory I wanted to share. After lunch we took off back to the campground -- even if you were with us you might not have seen this.
We were motoring down a tight little bit of blacktop and the order was Al, loph, me then either Mike or MrT10x, I can't remember. Anyway, we top over this blind hill and pass a house. Just as Al pulls even with the driveway, this black dog shoots out of the yard. And this isn't one of those good-natured, hey-let's-play kind of dogs -- this is a bad-attitude-having I'm gonna take down a bike and eat you for lunch-type anti-social dog. Well, Al sees him and does a pretty nifty slow and accelerate move that dodges the would-be predator. The only problem is that this brings the dog right into loph's path. Loph jams on his brakes, then swerves to his left. I lock up my rear and then move to the right, just as the dog turns around and looks up hill. The transformation in that mutt's expression was more eloquent than Shakespeare. In the moment after he was nearly t-boned by loph, he went from being king-sh*t badass of the month, to realizing there was a whole pack of these heavy, fast, loud beasts with their bright eyes and growly asses coming over his hill. All dogs talk; I could read this guy's thoughts like they were written in foot-high helvetica: "I'm gonna mess you up coming by my house Ipitythefoolyouarelunchmeat BARKBARKBARK...what tha --- ho-ly FUCK! YEARRGHH!!!" When I got done processing the adrenaline by pissing my pants, I nearly finished the job laughing my ass off.

Hey, I gotta tell you, I have ridden all of that ride w/ Al and alone and you guys rode some pretty knarly rocky hilly terrain! I wouldn't want to ride some of that on anything other than my old DRZ or my Beta!
Kudos you big bike freaks! And you T-dub (the only normal one in the group!)

That really did look like a lot of fun. I felt like a boob leaving the campground knowing I'd be elsewhere on Saturday. Great job on pics and video.
Did Hobo get his envelope?

Looks like you boys had one helluva fun ride. Wish I could've been there with you. Did any of you save tracks that you'd be willing to share???
