Mike, yes... to plan ahead on line selection seems to be what's all about, considering I was riding the last 5 years a bike which already was part of me.
I'm not a small guy, but I think I can't make it look smaller than a 890...

Looks like the 990R are all getting grabbed up. Just got mine with 60 miles on it after the first ride.

LOL I just came off an xr600 onto a 950a. The new beast is a lot of weight when not moving but once you get used to it it is really rewarding. Its funny though I remember when I was thinking of getting my xr and forum guys were saying THAT was too big and heavy for real off-road work. I wonder what they'd say about my new choice?!?

Take the time to set up the suspension. The owners manual has all the base settings. Mine were all over the place from the dealership. Makes a big difference.

990ADV in OZ

Well at last have a pic to post,

This is one of only two White 2012 990ADV in the whole of Australia...

KTM OZ has stopped importing the 990 so I begged the dealer to get one in & KTM Oz brought 2 White & 6 Blue(Think)

Love it, just need to Farkle it up now...
It already has the Springs, Scotts Dampner, Triple Clamp & Risers, & of Course the Renazco Seat.. Thankyou James & Sonia...
