Here is one from the last trip I had on my beloved 990 in 2012. Now the sled season is started and the 990 rests in the garage ready for som action in the spring time.

Maybe it will get som new custom designed decals this winter..

Hi Dave-
Awesome bike and beautiful pictures. I've looked at your profile
and done some searching but with no luck, so I thought I'd ask
you directly... Could you talk about your exhaust line briefly. If
I had to guess, I'd say Neptune but I'm not sure. I'd love to hear
your take on this issue with the 990, as we all read about the Akro's,
Wings, FMF, etc. but it appears you have something else going on
here and the mileage to give a helpful opinion on this important weight
reduction improvement to the 990...

gt, They are CF Neptunes. I know nothing about them, except they were on the bike when I bought it. I was the 3rd owner, so the guy I bought it from didn't know much about them either. It appears they are made in New Zealand and possibly were carried by Adventures Workshop at one point. They sound sweet. Not terribly loud, but deep. I haven't had the bike on a dyno and haven't yet played around with TuneECU. I haven't seen another 990 with them.

I think I've shared this here before, but here's a better look at the Neptunes.
