Congrats!

Maybe you should get a personalized tag that says 'COUCH' on it?

Looking rad

Time to look over the front cylinder base gasket since the rear had developed a "Pyndon Syndrome"

Looking good Johan. Add seat and pedals, and it's ready to race.

To be honest Im not entirely sure, have 2 sets, a 230 mm (stock) and a low S 245 and think they are mixed up right now since there was a fork seal leak this summer and have had the shocks off for oil change.

Still waiting for the Pyndon suspension. But looks quite tall now also since there is no meat on this bikes bones.

Here is the rest of it:

Awesome downhill bike :-)

Johan, do you want some engine parts? I have some good low mileage early cases I could sell you (no corrosion). I also have a new set of cylinders I could sell you reasonable or a set of used cylinders too. All in great shape.

Email me if I can help in any way.

Lyndon

Won´t spend any more money on this engine, will see how it holds up with some sealant. If any more problems occur I will see if the damage is worse before doing any more repairs and should the day come that it wont work ill look at a replacement engine or if the money is there a whole newer bike.

If a new bike maybe do as suggested earlier strip the old down to this and add a saddle and pedals!

If it cant be fixed with a hammer its an electrical problem!

Long before the suspension can be put to use, plenty of snow!

More pictures!!!

I got caught in the middle of it twice on a recent trip in and around the Smokies. I got home yesterday, this morning the bike wouldn't start, no clicks from the fuel pump. I should have changed it before I left but kept a spare under the seat. At least changing it in the garage will be easier than the snow. On another note, the motor has nearly 70,000 miles on it and she's having an oil pressure issue allowing quite the chatter from the cam chains at low revs. This started right after an oil change down on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Going to change the oil again and see if it quits, 10w30 may be too light, even in cooler temps.

Cohutta National Forest Tuesday morning. 2,700 miles the past 2 weeks
