Hi there, here is a photo of my 990s with about 30km on the clock! It now has nearly 1000kms (due for it's 1st service) I will post decent shots of it being used as god intended it as soon as I get some.

Sorry I had to add the photo as an attachment as I don't know how else to do it!!

That bike does look sweet, doesn't it?! Those orange thingies are what looks to be part of the Acerbis Rally II hand guards... they are in 2 sections, and smaller one is protection for the clutch & brake fluid reservoirs... at least that is what it looks like to me from these pics.

LiveInOutdoors - Thanks. I work hard at keeping her shine with buffing products and wax. She has a real nice 30 foot glow don't you think? But as you know with 950's, my boots and pants have worn through the clear coat on the tanks and the leading edges of them are chipped nearly bare from gravel. Both rims are fairly gouged from rocks or tire spoons as well, and I sand and repaint my crash bars periodically from tipovers. I've been thinking of having her repainted but I've grown fond of her rough edges since every bruise has a good trip to go with it.

Those are Rally II handguards. They are unbreakable poly and I use them because the more ridged aluminum models get pretty bent up after awhile.

I've enjoyed reading your KTM 950 Adventures. I think I read somewhere you no longer have it (condolences) but I am sure you'll come up with another. The way you beat on that thing, I always thought KTM should make you an official test rider.

i took these the day after christmas. it was a balmy 34F, and the roads were clear. the next day it snowed 12" in the valley. bike is up for now.

heres one with a bison herd behind the ktm, cant see them well....

the sexist bike ive ever owned. i can look at her for hours!!
