Doing a ride in one month that could involve some goopy spots. Would like to put on a high fender as a preventative measure. Front fender is a $300 part, making me very hesitant to carve it up.

Dealer told me that most folks butcher the front fender to retain fork protectors and ABS mount.

Asume 990, since 950 haven't ABS.

Here's the HOW: http://www.ktm950.info/how/Farkels/a...ender_kit.html

I have the part number for a white fender around here someplace- I can dig it up if you need it.

I drilled an extra hole in the new fork protectors, and carved the tab off the ABS sensor.

Works a treat.

Thanks FN! Very helpful.

I'm sure I can figure it out, but if you have any close up pics of sensor mount that would be very helpful.

So I gotta ride from NC to Colorado planned for this summer.
Tonight, during our anniversary dinner, my wife says.... "So, what's it going to take to get your KTM ready for your Colorado ride?"

God, I love this woman!

I should have taken a pic of my bike this afternoon... in the back of my truck

POS started to sputter/stall again. I really wish I knew what it was.

First ride after installing the 2into1 and ADV Tank.

Beautiful bike (except maybe the makeshift fender), beautiful day and crappy photos.

Hey, Masa, may be you could get pics more spectacular of those great landscapes of that country of yours, but I think your pics are just fine in showing your goodlooking bike. I think the light given by the snow is great for this.
More than one, though, is surely thinking 'a pic of the 2-into-1 side would be appreciated'

Sorry to jump in, but it might be helpful to leave a vertical piece on ABS sensor mount to support the cable. Especially if you want convert back to low fender at some point. New sensor mount isn't expensive though.
