I was the only motorcycle I saw on the road the entire few days in a row on the south side of the island. Hopefully the weather warms 10 degrees to make it safer to travel through mountaineous areas. I'm heading to the West Fjords tomorrow and don't leave on the ferry to Hirtshals until Septmeber 11th.

I'm already looking forward to returning and I haven't left yet. This entire island is comprised of a million points of interest.
We missed the Westfjords. We were along the peninsula just south of the Westfjords and were having starting problems, so we headed back to Reykjavik to work things out. I am very disappointed to have missed them.

We're having out last real ride today in Iceland. We're going to take the 90km highway 910 from Egilsstađir down towards the glacier. Tomorrow will be a day of preparing for Wednesday's ferry. We almost had to take the ferry on the 11th (I wouldn't have been disappointed) since, when booking online, there was no room on the ferry for the 4th. I called in and they managed to find room for one more motorcycle.

We've been here 4 weeks (two weeks without a bike). So sad to be leaving and I have definitely already decided to come back. I have to. There are just too many place to see and not enough time to see them. I'm also hoping that I get a nicer summer the next time I arrive. I've been told by many locals that this has been the worst summer in over ten years. Regardless, it's been amazing.

Did a little 2 wheel scouting to check out my Elk hunting spots.

Not exactly a motorcycle pic. But a double rainbow lighting up the evening sky- no photo shop- the sun was below the horizon and the rainbow was that bright. Thought it was pretty cool- it eneded right at my house- no pot of gold I am sad to say.

Yeti weight

Me too! I strapped my bow down to an old Army Rucksack. I figured if I got one I would strap it down like a passenger just to freak people out lol.

My Yeti SB95 is the carbon race version.
It weights 28.25 lbs with the Reverb dropper post.

Hope this helps

Iceland is a short ride and a three-day ferry away from Belgium.

I don;t have the funds for the travel. I have been looking at it a few weeks ago and the ferry for example was not very cheap.

Maybe one day....

I'm going to be happy with the trip to the alps that im leaving for in a few days.
