If you have more pics of it with this setup, up&running... grateful.

Laugh New to the forum

Hi! Just introducing myself been involved with KTM for 28 years in Sourh Africa, I have been riding adventures for many years in fact bought the first 950 that came into South Africa. After owning 20 odd 990's have done a complete circle and have just recently bought a 950 with 48 km on. Would like to post pic but a bit limited in the "how" currently sitting in the bush on the border of Botswana and South Africa..martinsdrift. Greetings!!

Twenty 990 in 8 years... wow! that's an average of +2 bikes per year... at least
I think you can send your profile to the Guiness Book of Records

And... how can anybody (with blood in his veins) can possible ride only 48kms on a beast like ours....
Good catch!

Welcome to the Nuts House, your pics will be more than appreciated when you recover some Internet bandwidth .

Welcome!
I'm new to KTM, after 9 years on one BMW 1150 Adventure.
I found a 990 R with 2,200 miles on it. Love it.

new to me 990 Dakar

After having fun over six summers and 50 000 km with SE I changed to 990 Dakar. After washing her I gave her a new seat and put some wax on . Next week must change front tyre, engine oil and air filter... Hope this one will work as well as my previous SE did .....

Honestly, I don't ride my 950 much these days, but I got it out a couple of weeks ago on some local roads, and it still puts a smile on my face.

Welcome back. gaspipe

You had drifted away from the OC around the time i joined, but i went thru your 950s build way back when and gained a lot of info as to what i was getting into with these bikes.

So thanks for that and the time you spend moderating this site.

Ive had a blast with mine. The loaded down Behemoth.
